ASF Members offer. Namix leads and Gemini splashdowns

Postby werty0_0 » Thu Jan 01, 2015 11:14 pm

Hi all,
As you know we've been working in the background to come up with offers for ASF members, Penn Squall reels, Poseidon rods. We also now have distribution for Gemini tackle products including their splash down leads - available in 135, 150 and 175g weights.

We also have Namix moulds both the GX and Phoenix GX with bait clip -

We'll be pouring a bunch of leads before the Nationals so if anyone is interested there will be some available.

Cheers and all the best for 2015. :D

It's worth noting that the release mechanism on the Splashdowns is unique in that the hook is fully captive until it is triggered. It is perfect for off the ground casting.
It also means that you don't have to worry so much about keeping tension on your snood when designing rigs. I have used the Splashdowns to clip down a simple paternoster rig with a light snood. All you have to do is get the length a little bit longer and clip it in, no need for springs and stuff.

Mike, As Aaron says the Gemini has a fantastic hook release, it's only drawback is the max size hook you can use, but there's ways around that.
the namix with bait clip isn't quite as foolproof but offers much larger hooks to be used. Both offer great bottom holding, the namix has a wider range of weights, both offer advantages.

Cheers,
Simon

I've moved the talk of a Salt Creek to its own thread

The ASF is really rocking with the list of goodies for sale..
Where can financial members see a list of what there is to buy?
Thanks.

We still have plenty of the leads left, both the splashdowns and the Namex as per this thread. We also have a few other bits and pieces.

We don't currently have a list but I'll talk to the guys about putting something together when I see them tomorrow.

Thanks
Aaron
